MUMBAI: After its SMS game around cricket that it launched during last year's IPL, Play 6UP now plans a soccer game in a tie-up with telecom giant Airtel during the upcoming Fifa World Cup in June.
“We have piloted as soccer product in the UK, which we plan to go live with Fifa World Cup. We will be offering this service in India. Airtel believes in soccer and we will be doing some work with them during the World Cup launching a soccer game, which will be probably more focused on students.
